Joey Receives 2011 New England Patriots Community MVP Award

On Thursday, June 9, 2011, Joey accepted the 2011 New England Patriots Community MVP Award from Patriots owner, Robert Kraft. Joey was a runner up among sixteen finalists and received a check for $10,000 to Camp Sunshine in his honor. As a runner up, Camp Sunshine will receive a visit from the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation.

The plunge is at 10:30 am, check in begins at 9:30 am at the Camp Sunshine van parked in front of the bath house. Please bring your pledge sheets and money on the day of the plunge, in a sealed envelope with your name and dollar amount raised on the envelope. Due to some confusion in years past, we ask that participants only give their envelopes to the Joey’s Plunge® representative when you receive your towel. When possible, checks are preferred. Spectators are welcome!
